Sustainability is at the heart of Red Star roasters and was first established in  2008 by a group of passionate people working in the sustainability and environmental industries

We are continuously making improvements in the way we operate and seeking new ways to support our cafes in treading a lighter carbon footprint. We work in collaboration with our sister companies – Australian Ecosystems and Biolfilta- to provide cafes with tangible and simple solutions to act more sustainably.

At Red Star Coffee we:

Provide advice and support repurposing to repurpose coffee grounds

Have solutions for growing urban food and establishing vertical gardens

Promote and encourage biodegradable and reusable cups

Repurpose by-products produced in the roasting process

Are 100% carbon neutral

Operate our office on 100% green power through origin energy
