Shade grown coffee requires little or no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The shade trees filter carbon dioxide which causes global warming, and aid in soil moisture retention which minimizes erosion.
Our teas are perched approximately 6000 feet above sea level in a lush tea growing region of Sri Lanka, long established tea estates grow in optimum growing conditions to produce the finest grade Ceylon tea used in our Red Star Coffee teas. The finest leaves are plucked throughout the year according to our requirements, producing a clean crisp and flavorsome tea accented with subtleties from the time of harvest.
Red Star Teas use only organic, environmental and socially ethical methods in the growing and processing of our products. The certified Level A (full organic) status all our products carry testify to these natural processes.

Red Star Premium Espresso
represents a complex variety of ethically sourced beans from regions including South America, Indonesia, and Peru, providing a medium roast blend, perfectly tailored for milk-based coffee as well as espressos. Our Red Star Premium blend is great as an espresso shot, releasing full–bodied complexity and flavour. The blend has no bitter after taste and the strength to satisfy even the most discerning palate. As a milk–based espresso, the smooth texture releases through the milk, providing a perfect, well–balanced flavour for a quality coffee experience.

Red Star Forte Stella
offers a strong espresso coffee hit. This blend is for the coffee lover that requires a real kick start to their day. The blend is a darker–roasted bean, concentrated caramel coffee syrup, and a stronger, fuller–bodied taste. The blend does not overpower the flavour of milk–based coffee but does have a distinct bouquet and a darker texture as an espresso, latte or cappuccino. Thoroughly recommended for people requesting a big caffeine hit or a double shot.

Our Double certified blend comprises high grade beans sourced from various ethically driven co–operatives ensuring Red Star Coffee receives only the highest quality, carefully selected varieties. This blend is a mouth–watering example of the power and flavour intensity of the natural sun dried processing method of this amazing blend of green beans.
The blend exudes a variety of notes and flavour profiles including a fruit bomb experience from ripe berries such as raspberry and blueberry. The blend also has a striking sweet and tangy acidity with a rich body that is syrupy and fruity, with plenty of other citrus notes to liven things up!

Red Star Decaf blend
The Swiss water method is used to remove traces of caffeine from the blend, leaving a chemical–free espresso which can still be enjoyed with all the important Red Star coffee palate characteristics. A big South American flavour profile ensures a surprising smooth coffee body and flavour which is delightfully rare as a black coffee, and steers its way through milk–based drinks as well.

Our cleanskin “Jack” coffee possess all of the ethical punch behind the selected green beans, without all of the marketing business that we at Red Star Coffee crow about. An amazing South American green bean supported with some transparent Rain Forest Alliance certification.
Ruby as a cleanskin also is a Rainforest Alliance certified coffee, so you are drinking a real ethically founded blend, very high quality South American origin coffee. Unlike its brother Jack which possesses a bigger fruitier flavour personality, Ruby has more subtle notes and a slightly lighter body on the tongue and pallet.
